Currently ranked as the No. 6 Pediatric Hospital in the nation, the Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is a 10-story 265,000 square foot facility in the area of Washington Heights in upper Manhattan dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to children in the most technologically advanced environment. The Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, which opened its doors in November 2003, was funded entirely through philanthropy with the largest contribution coming from over 1,200 Morgan Stanley employees.
The Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of NewYork-Presbyterian is affiliated with Columbia University College of Physician’s & Surgeons and is responsible for many innovations and pioneering work in the area of pediatric medicine. It is a comprehensive pediatric hospital that treats a wide range of childhood diseases from the most common illnesses to more specialized, unique cases. The new Hospital also boasts a magnificent indoor Wintergarden plaza within our spacious lobby that provides a wonderful venue for music, dance, choral and dramatic performances. These performances brighten the hospital stays for patients and families by providing respite from their illnesses.
